Focused on configuration management and network monitoring, the work involved updating the ftd.yaml file using YAML to correctly map the systemObjectId for Cisco FTD 3105 running firmware version 7.4.2.1 and newer. This targeted change improved the accuracy of device identification, ensuring that monitoring dashboards reflect precise inventory and reducing the risk of misclassification. The update strengthened monitoring coverage for Cisco FTD deployments, supporting more reliable device tracking and alerting within the existing network management infrastructure.
