During June 2025, work focused on enhancing package management and deployment within the Shopify/nixpkgs repository using Nix and system administration skills. Developed and integrated the shaderbg package, establishing a robust build environment and managing dependencies for a shader-based live wallpaper application. Automated updates for the niriswitcher package by implementing a nix-update-script, streamlining version control and maintenance. Integrated systemd service management for the daed package, enabling reliable system service operation. Addressed build stability for deadbeef plugins by suppressing non-fatal compiler warnings, reducing build failures. These efforts improved deployment reliability and reduced maintenance overhead across multiple packages in the Nix ecosystem.
