Worked on the RedHatInsights/payload-tracker-go repository, delivering a targeted dependency upgrade by updating konflux-pipelines to version 1.64.0. This effort focused on aligning the project with the latest features and fixes, reducing maintenance risk and ensuring compatibility with downstream services and CI/CD workflows. The upgrade was implemented using YAML for configuration and leveraged skills in Continuous Integration and DevOps, particularly with Tekton Pipelines. Emphasis was placed on Go module dependency management, semantic versioning, and maintaining Git commit hygiene. The work improved project stability and forward-compatibility, streamlining release cycles without introducing major changes or fixing existing bugs.
