During June 2025, this developer contributed to the GregTechCEu/GregTech-Modern repository by addressing a long-standing gameplay issue related to resource availability. Using Java and leveraging skills in game development and modding, they restored the obtainability of Thorium and Magnesite ores by updating the ore-generation logic to place Thorium in dike veins and Magnesite in layered veins. This targeted bug fix resolved a gap in progression and resource accessibility for players, ensuring these ores could once again be located and utilized. The work demonstrated a focused approach to patching, with careful attention to balance and minimal risk to existing systems.
