During August 2025, Bootc focused on stabilizing NetBox Helm chart deployments in the netbox-community/netbox-chart repository by addressing issues with external sentinel value handling. Bootc identified that externally provided sentinel values were not being correctly serialized, which could lead to deployment inconsistencies for users leveraging custom configurations. By updating the Helm chart to ensure these values are always formatted as JSON, Bootc improved the reliability of Kubernetes-based deployments. The work included a version bump to 6.1.11 to align with release practices. This contribution demonstrated a targeted application of Helm, Kubernetes, and YAML, reflecting a focused and technically sound engineering effort.
