During December 2025, Mr. Boskoop developed an auto-update feature for Foxit PDF Reader within the ScoopInstaller/Extras repository, focusing on seamless cross-reader synchronization between foxit-reader and foxit-pdf-reader. He updated both 32-bit and 64-bit autoupdate URLs, ensuring reliable distribution across architectures and reducing manual maintenance. Leveraging skills in package management and version control, he implemented the update workflow using JSON to align both readers’ release cycles. This work improved update reliability, security, and traceability, while enhancing documentation for future maintainers. The depth of the contribution lies in its attention to cross-component consistency and the reduction of user friction during updates.
