Worked on the OpenCSGs/csghub-server repository to enhance configuration management by renaming a key OpenAI model configuration parameter. Focused on refactoring YAML-based configuration files, the update changed the key from openai_compatible_embedder to openai_compatible_model, clarifying its purpose and improving compatibility for future OpenAI integrations. This adjustment aimed to reduce misconfiguration risks and streamline onboarding for new contributors, supporting safer and more scalable usage of OpenAI models. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary effort centered on governance and maintainability of configuration naming conventions, ensuring the system remains robust and easier to manage moving forward.
