During November 2024, contributed to the elixir-nx/emlx repository by developing new tensor manipulation capabilities focused on enhancing data preprocessing workflows. The work centered on implementing reverse and pad functions, allowing users to reverse tensor elements along specified axes and add customizable padding values. This feature was integrated with the existing tensor API, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation within established workflows. The technical approach leveraged backend development skills, native implemented functions (NIFs), and expertise in both Elixir and C++. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus remained on delivering and validating the new tensor manipulation functionality.
