During July 2026, work centered on the launchdarkly/js-core repository, where a configurable HTTP proxy option was developed for the Node server SDK to improve network connectivity in proxy-restricted environments. This feature enabled support for SOCKS and other proxy configurations by allowing specification of custom HTTP(S) agents, streamlining enterprise deployments behind proxies. The implementation was carried out using TypeScript and Node.js, with a strong emphasis on API development and comprehensive testing. Test coverage was expanded to verify proxyAgent usage across both polling and streaming flows, enhancing network resilience and reducing manual configuration for more consistent and reliable deployments.
