During March 2025, Bryan Dichtl focused on strengthening the cryptographic reliability of the immutable/ts-immutable-sdk by addressing a critical encoding issue in StarkEx key derivation. He implemented UTF-8 encoding enforcement within the signMessage function, ensuring consistent key derivation and signing workflows across different environments. This work, carried out in TypeScript, improved the security and stability of integrations with the Immutable X SDK by reducing the risk of encoding-related cryptographic errors. Bryan’s efforts centered on backend robustness rather than user-facing features, demonstrating depth in cryptography and SDK development while enhancing the overall reliability of the repository’s cryptographic operations.
