Brendan expanded multilingual grammar checking capabilities in the giellalt/lang-sme repository by developing and integrating new language resource files for English and Sámi. He authored FTL-based resources containing error messages and descriptions, enabling the system to perform grammar checks across both languages and laying the foundation for future language support. Brendan also established a pipeline entry to automate resource management and deployment, streamlining the process for adding and validating new linguistic assets. His work focused on internationalization, localization, and linguistics, providing a scalable approach for cross-language grammar validation. The project addressed the need for robust multilingual support in language technology infrastructure.
