Worked on the astral-sh/ruff repository to standardize diagnostic message formatting for pylint lint rules, focusing on improving consistency and automation readiness. Addressed a bug by updating the delimiter in diagnostic messages for PLR0914 and PLR0917 from '/' to '>', aligning them with other rules and reducing confusion for users and CI systems. Updated and verified related test snapshots to ensure all affected tests passed, contributing to more reliable error reporting and downstream tool integration. Utilized Python and code quality assurance practices, leveraging linting tools to enhance developer experience and enable more accurate parsing by automation and dashboard systems.
