During May 2025, work centered on enhancing the EventWizard tool within the the-blue-alliance repository by extending input validation to support 5-digit team numbers, accommodating up to 99,999 teams. This update addressed scalability needs for larger events and improved data integrity by reducing manual entry errors. The feature was implemented in JavaScript, focusing on robust frontend validation logic and clear, maintainable commit messaging. No bugs were fixed during this period, as efforts prioritized delivering this new capability. The approach demonstrated attention to maintainability and issue tracking, laying a foundation for future enhancements to event setup workflows and user experience.
