During February 2026, Breynoso focused on stabilizing the Buck build process by restoring lazy import functionality in the facebook/buck2 and facebook/buck2-prelude repositories. Using Python and build system development skills, Breynoso reinstated previously removed FbsourceRoot and BuckMode code, addressing broken build-time behavior and failures that arose from their absence. This work involved carefully reverting prior code removals and coordinating cross-repository changes to ensure consistent build stability. By reintroducing these lazy import pathways, Breynoso improved reliability for downstream targets and reduced the risk of future build breakages, demonstrating a strong grasp of software maintenance and Python scripting practices.
