Worked on the privacyguides/privacyguides.org repository to refine the site’s localization by standardizing the capitalization of the Russian language name in the language selector. Addressed this UI consistency issue by updating the mkdocs.yml configuration file, ensuring that Russian-speaking users experience a more polished and accurate interface. Applied configuration management and localization best practices, focusing on precise YAML edits to align the language display with established UI standards. The work delivered a targeted, low-risk improvement that enhanced internationalization quality without introducing complexity. Demonstrated attention to detail and a methodical approach to maintaining localization fidelity within a collaborative open-source environment.
