During November 2024, Ben S. developed an Illuminate Feature Toggle for the lazyvim/lazyvim repository, enabling users to quickly switch the Illuminate feature on or off within the editor using a keyboard shortcut. He implemented this functionality in Lua, focusing on editor configuration and plugin development to ensure seamless integration. The toggle was further enhanced by connecting it with which-key, improving discoverability and user experience.
