Worked on the modelix.core repository to deliver a seamless authentication experience by implementing an automatic OAuth token refresh flow in Kotlin. Focused on backend development and token management, the solution enables sessions to remain stable by refreshing access tokens with refresh tokens, eliminating the need for repeated re-authorization prompts. Enhanced observability for authentication operations was achieved through improved logging and debugging, particularly around OAuth port discovery, which streamlines troubleshooting and reduces mean time to resolution. All changes were carefully scoped to avoid altering core authentication behavior, maintaining security while improving diagnostics and maintainability for authentication workflows within the existing system.
