Worked on the hashgraph/guardian repository to deliver an update to the GHG Methodology Documentation and Calculator, focusing on cement production and waste disposal emissions. The work involved revising emission factors and calculation formulas, clarifying user input data requirements, and improving documentation formatting for enhanced readability. Using Markdown for documentation and applying data analysis and environmental science expertise, the developer refactored ten methodology files and added detailed tables for waste types with corresponding CO2 emission factors. These updates improved data quality and compliance readiness, supporting more reliable emissions reporting while demonstrating disciplined version control and collaborative documentation practices throughout the development process.
