Worked on the updatecli/updatecli repository to enhance the developer experience for Go projects by introducing a dedicated devcontainer configuration. Leveraging skills in CI/CD, DevOps, and Go development, implemented a standardized development environment using Shell scripting to automate setup and onboarding for contributors. Added a post-creation script within the devcontainer to install Goreleaser, enabling automated release processes and reducing manual intervention during releases. This approach streamlined the workflow for new and existing contributors, ensuring consistency across development environments and simplifying the release pipeline. The work focused on improving onboarding efficiency and maintaining reliable, automated processes for Go project development.
