Worked on backend stability for the sreichel/magento-lts repository by addressing a regression in block rendering logic. Focused on PHP-based Magento development, the work involved refining the getSortedChildren() method to prevent duplicate blocks from appearing in the sorted children path. The solution updated Abstract.php to ensure proper removal of child blocks and introduced a targeted regression test in ListTest.php, enhancing unit testing coverage. This approach improved UI stability and reduced the risk of similar issues in future releases. The work demonstrated attention to detail in bug fixing and contributed to the maintainability of the codebase without introducing new features.
