Worked on enhancing API security in the githubnext/gh-aw-trial-hono repository by developing comprehensive JWK token verification tests for the Hono framework. Focused on validating default timestamp claims such as exp, nbf, and iat, as well as optional issuer verification when configured, the work included both successful and failure scenarios to ensure robust coverage. Implemented the tests using JavaScript and TypeScript, leveraging Node.js for backend development and emphasizing thorough testing practices. This effort improved the reliability of token validation logic, helping to identify potential issues with invalid or missing attributes and strengthening the overall security posture of the framework.
