During March 2026, f0rhum delivered complete French UI localizations for the OsmAnd and OsmAnd-iOS repositories, achieving full translation coverage across both Android and iOS platforms. Using Swift and XML, f0rhum implemented a scalable localization workflow via Weblate, ensuring all UI strings were accurately translated and terminology remained consistent. This work enhanced accessibility for French-speaking users and improved the overall user experience by providing seamless cross-platform language support. All localization changes passed quality assurance and were committed for traceability, demonstrating a thorough approach to internationalization. The project addressed the need for broader adoption by supporting French localization end-to-end.
