The work aligned Filecoin’s signing process with Ethereum’s EIP-191 and EIP-712 standards, incorporating version bytes to support multiple signing contexts and improve interoperability across wallets. Focused on protocol design and blockchain standards, the implementation emphasized cryptographic signing concepts and thorough documentation, including user stories to clarify integration scenarios. Markdown was used for comprehensive documentation, ensuring clarity and traceability. This feature enhanced security and developer experience by reducing integration friction for arbitrary message signing workflows.
