Worked on stabilizing USB JTAG logging behavior in the esphome/esphome repository, focusing on improving logger robustness and reliability for embedded systems development. Addressed an issue where USB JTAG VFS symbols were incorrectly linked when logging was disabled by ensuring proper initialization and symbol linking. Enhanced the logger by adding conditional checks for USB Serial JTAG initialization, reducing false positives and intermittent failures during startup. Introduced new test configurations to validate logger changes and prevent regressions, strengthening CI and test coverage. Utilized C++ development and Python scripting skills, along with testing frameworks, to deliver a more stable USB JTAG workflow.
