During May 2025, butterflyoffire contributed to the uyuni-project/uyuni repository by delivering Kabyle language localization for the web UI. They introduced a new kab.po file and updated existing Kabyle translations, enhancing accessibility for Kabyle-speaking users. Leveraging Weblate, butterflyoffire established a translation management workflow that supports ongoing localization efforts and ensures commit-level traceability. Their work focused on internationalization and localization, utilizing PO files and translation management best practices. While the contribution was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, it addressed the project's localization roadmap and expanded the platform’s reach to a broader, multilingual audience.
