Over a two-month period, contributed to GTBitsOfGood/ican by building and refining interactive game features focused on user engagement and maintainability. Developed a trivia game with a question card interface, robust scoring logic, and updated educational content using React, TypeScript, and CSS. Enhanced the project’s UI/UX through a comprehensive overhaul of the game wrapper and trivia components, improving state management, responsiveness, and visual clarity. Simplified modal interactions to streamline gameplay flow and centralized win-state handling for consistency. The work emphasized maintainable code architecture, performance-conscious design, and clear gameplay experiences, laying a strong foundation for future feature iterations and user growth.
