During February 2026, C0013r Hofc developed custom branding assets for the Basis Smart Panel within the home-assistant/brands repository. They created and integrated SVG-based icons and a logo, focusing on UI and graphic design to enhance the panel’s visual representation in Home Assistant. Their work followed Home Assistant’s branding guidelines, aiming to improve brand consistency and user recognition, which supports faster onboarding and a clearer interface. The project involved end-to-end asset creation, version-controlled delivery, and commit-based workflows. While the scope was limited to a single feature and did not include bug fixes, the contribution demonstrated solid design and integration skills.
