Worked on the camptocamp/demo_geomapfish repository to enhance internationalization and localization for mapping applications over a two-month period. Focused on updating and aligning localization files, the work introduced new terms and translations in German, English, French, and Italian, improving multilingual support and user experience. Leveraged translation management skills and PO file editing to ensure consistency across geomapfish and geoportal components, reducing untranslated strings and maintenance overhead. The approach emphasized scalable workflows and maintainable localization assets, enabling faster onboarding and easier future updates. No bugs were fixed during this period, with all efforts directed toward feature development and translation improvements.
