Worked on the justeattakeaway/pie repository to expand internationalization support by implementing Canada-specific cookie banner localization in both English and French. Focused on front end development using JavaScript, the work included updating unit tests and snapshots to ensure the new locale configurations were robust and reliable. Documentation was enhanced to clearly outline the changes and maintain clarity for future contributors. Minor typographical corrections were made to improve user messaging and maintain consistency. This effort reinforced compliance with Canadian language requirements and improved the user experience for Canadian visitors, demonstrating attention to detail in localization and quality assurance practices.
