Worked on the torontojs/communityhub repository to deliver a comprehensive design system color palette refresh, focusing on expanding palettes and aligning contextual tones for improved UI consistency. Leveraged CSS and front end development skills to standardize input background tokens and introduce a robust set of color tokens for alert states, including error, warning, info, and success, across both the base design system and CommunityHub. Addressed color reference regressions by updating outdated variables and implemented hexadecimal fallbacks for HSLA colors, ensuring reliable cross-browser rendering. These enhancements support accessibility readiness and streamline future theming efforts within the design system architecture.
