Developed and delivered a Barter Aggregator Volume Adapter for the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository, focusing on enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of bartering volume metrics. The solution leveraged Ethereum and TypeScript to fetch daily transaction volumes directly from executors, implementing per-transaction deduplication by filtering logs and isolating the first transfer in each transaction. This approach replaced the previous logFilter method, reducing duplicate data and improving reliability. Additionally, an hourly data pull cadence was introduced to ensure fresher volume metrics. The work emphasized backend development and blockchain integration, resulting in a more robust data pipeline for business analytics and partner reporting.
