During October 2024, Cam Git worked on the IBM/cloud-pak repository, focusing on lifecycle simplification by deprecating and removing legacy components such as the ITX Runtime Server and IBM ClickHouse Operator. Using skills in Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure, Cam implemented targeted YAML changes across three commits to eliminate outdated component versions and their external references. This work reduced technical debt, clarified upgrade paths for customers, and aligned the repository with current product offerings. By maintaining detailed commit documentation, Cam ensured traceability of changes, resulting in a cleaner codebase and a more maintainable, modernized cloud infrastructure environment.
