During October 2024, Camtasia Chen enhanced the InvokeAI repository by updating and expanding Chinese (Simplified) translations for the Web UI, raising coverage to 66 percent and improving accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. The work focused on internationalization and localization, utilizing JSON for translation data and leveraging translationBot to automate updates and ensure consistency. By integrating these changes through Git-based workflows, Camtasia advanced the repository’s localization readiness, enabling a more inclusive user experience. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature delivered measurable progress in multi-language support and laid a foundation for further internationalization efforts within the project.
