During June 2025, Yeiber Cano enhanced accessibility in the adobecom/express-milo repository by updating the createSVGWrapper function to set aria-hidden='true' on all SVG elements. This adjustment ensures that decorative SVGs are ignored by screen readers, improving the experience for visually impaired users and aligning with WCAG accessibility standards. Yeiber applied front end development skills and JavaScript expertise to implement this feature with minimal performance impact. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated a focused approach to accessibility compliance and ARIA best practices, resulting in a more inclusive user interface for assistive technology users.
