Worked on enhancing open source license compliance for the luoyuxia/fluss repository by updating Apache 2.0 license headers across multiple Java source files. The approach involved careful multi-file refactoring to ensure correct attribution to Splunk Inc. while preserving original lightproto license headers, aligning with both legal and project requirements. This work focused on reducing legal risk and supporting compliant open source software distribution, with all changes tracked through version control for governance. Demonstrated skills in Java and open source compliance, emphasizing license management and repository maintenance. No major bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts centered on licensing updates.
