Worked on the blacklanternsecurity/bbot repository to deliver a modernized integration with the DeHashed v2 API, focusing on secure and reliable data ingestion. Migrated the API workflow from GET requests to POST with a JSON body, updated authentication mechanisms, and adapted the codebase to handle new JSON response formats. Expanded automated test coverage to include edge cases such as invalid emails, API errors, and result limits, improving resilience to external changes. Utilized Python for API integration, data parsing, and error handling, while emphasizing maintainability and clarity in the data collection pipeline. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period.
