Worked on enhancing storage capabilities in the rancher/rke2 repository by upgrading the Harvester CSI Driver to version 0.1.28, focusing on improving storage provisioning and management within RKE2 clusters. The approach involved refining storage workflows to reduce provisioning friction and increase reliability for Harvester-backed deployments. Delivered these improvements through a merged pull request, standardizing the upgrade path and aligning storage management with the latest CSI driver features. Utilized Go and YAML to implement changes, leveraging skills in CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. The work demonstrated attention to release governance and collaborative development, with no major bugs reported during the period.
