Ilie contributed to the castai/helm-charts repository by delivering a metrics monitoring enhancement for CAST AI hosted model deployments. Using DevOps practices and leveraging Helm and Kubernetes, Ilie enabled the reuse of the HTTP port for metrics collection, which streamlines observability and reduces port contention within deployment workflows. The work involved updating deployment chart versions and aligning deployment artifacts with new metrics endpoints, simplifying ongoing maintenance. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature improved monitoring consistency and enabled faster issue detection for hosted deployments. The technical depth focused on YAML configuration and deployment automation within Kubernetes environments.
