Worked on enhancing fuzz testing and cryptographic correctness in the cloudflare/quiche repository, focusing on the QUIC protocol. Over two months, delivered features that expanded fuzzing coverage, including server-side targets and support for multi-packet scenarios, while also addressing cryptographic alignment by fixing AEAD tag length and padding handling. Introduced deterministic fuzzing acknowledgment delays to enable reproducible and reliable test runs, improving debugging efficiency and CI integration. Leveraged Rust and Shell scripting to implement robust build system changes, update Dockerfile and Cargo configurations, and manage fuzzing corpora. The work demonstrated depth in fuzzing, cryptography, and network protocol testing within Rust ecosystems.
