Worked on the openclaw/openclaw repository to enhance gateway reliability on macOS by developing a robust restart workflow. Leveraged Node.js and TypeScript to implement a feature that uses launchctl kickstart, enabling immediate respawning of the gateway after supervised restarts. This approach directly signals launchd, effectively bypassing ThrottleInterval delays and reducing restart latency. Expanded test coverage with new cross-platform cases to validate restart behavior across macOS and other environments, ensuring consistent reliability. Focused on process management and system administration, the work improved uptime, accelerated recovery, and simplified operational support for the gateway, contributing to more maintainable infrastructure overall.
