During April 2025, Degraw developed support for the Cudy R700 router on the ramips platform within the namiltd/openwrt repository. He implemented a dedicated device tree in C, integrated the device into the OpenWrt build system, and updated LED configurations to ensure correct hardware operation. This work expanded hardware compatibility for OpenWrt, enabling faster onboarding of new devices while maintaining clear change tracking and cohesive build integration. Degraw’s approach leveraged his expertise in embedded systems, Linux kernel development, and device tree management, resulting in maintainable code that facilitates future device support and streamlines the development process for the ramips platform.
