Worked on the nf-core/modules repository to deliver VisiumHD feature testing and improve test stability for the SpaceRanger module. Enhanced the testing framework using Groovy and Nextflow, focusing on validating new VisiumHD functionality within a bioinformatics context. Addressed memory-related flakiness and resolved snapshot inconsistencies, which led to more reliable and deterministic test outcomes. The improvements reduced CI cycle times and increased confidence in feature readiness by ensuring clearer validation signals. Demonstrated a methodical approach to test automation and resource management, contributing to higher code quality and more robust feature validation in a collaborative, quality-focused development environment.
