Worked on enhancing the security and reliability of batch processing in the sourcegraph/src-cli repository over a two-month period, focusing on backend development with Go. Delivered secure file path handling by implementing the os.Root API, which mitigated path traversal and symlink attacks, and refactored logic to validate mount paths against the root directory. Further strengthened the system by introducing validation for batch spec mount names, preventing invalid characters and reducing the risk of malformed input. All changes were tightly linked to relevant issues and commits, ensuring traceability and auditability while improving the overall robustness of batch processing workflows.
