Worked on the yetone/avante.nvim repository to address a critical issue in prompt generation, focusing on eliminating duplicate instruction appending across user sessions. Applied expertise in Lua and software testing to ensure that instructions are loaded and added only once per session, thereby improving the reliability and efficiency of the prompt generation process. Developed and integrated comprehensive tests to verify idempotent behavior when the generate_prompts function is called multiple times with identical options. This targeted bug fix enhanced session management and reduced the risk of duplicated prompts, resulting in more stable downstream integrations and a smoother user experience.
