Worked on the roboflow/inference repository to enhance the stability and maintainability of the inference pipeline. Addressed compatibility by upgrading the aiortc dependency, enforcing a minimum version to ensure seamless integration with newer library releases. Tackled a SyntaxWarning in core/devices/utils.py by refining shell scripting practices, specifically escaping a forward slash in a shell command to prevent environment-specific issues. Utilized Python and shell scripting skills to deliver targeted improvements, focusing on dependency management and debugging. The work reduced potential deployment friction and contributed to a more robust codebase, supporting smoother updates and ongoing compatibility with evolving third-party libraries and environments.
