During June 2026, contributed to the xbmc/xbmc repository by developing an Enhanced Playback Metrics UI for the media player system. This feature surfaced real-time audio and video bitrate, buffer queue levels, and extended language or stream names directly within the user interface, improving playback observability and enabling more effective skin customization. The work involved backend development in C++ and enhancements to both data caching and playback processing pipelines, ensuring accurate and timely metric exposure for UI skinners. The implementation followed the Git PR workflow, culminating in a merged pull request that delivered improved diagnostics and performance tuning capabilities for end users.
