During May 2025, Ceggy developed a cross-mod Metal Bar Recycling feature for the GTNewHorizons/GT5-Unofficial repository, focusing on expanding the item ecosystem and recipe integration across mods. By refactoring item data registration in Java, Ceggy enabled efficient handling of multiple mods and item types, ensuring accurate material mapping for recycling processes. This work introduced new recycling recipes for metal bars from both NewHorizonsCoreMod and EnderIO, supporting resource recovery and player progression. The approach emphasized data-driven design and maintainability, laying a foundation for scalable mod support and reducing future integration effort within the context of game development and modding.
