
Delivered end-to-end French localization of the QGIS cyclone trigger documentation for Madagascar within the GIScience/gis-training-resource-center repository. This work involved translating background information, trigger statements, workflow steps, map styling, export instructions, and dataset descriptions, as well as updating images to ensure consistent French-language rendering. Addressed markdown rendering issues by refining comments and correcting minor errors, which improved documentation clarity and maintainability. Demonstrated skills in technical writing, localization, and geospatial analysis, using Markdown and Git-based collaboration to maintain a clear, auditable workflow. The completed localization enhances accessibility for French-speaking users and streamlines onboarding and support for the project.

Resolved markdown rendering issues by fixing comments and addressing minor errors to improve clarity and maintainability. Achieved milestones include completing map 1 translation and finalizing page-level translations. This work improves accessibility for French-speaking users, reduces onboarding and support time, and strengthens the project’s localization workflow.
