During the month, contributed to the FFmpeg/FFmpeg repository by developing two features focused on LC3 codec integration. Implemented packed float input support for the LC3 encoder, allowing direct encoding from common audio sources and eliminating the need for pre-conversion. Enhanced the LC3 decoder with sample format negotiation and support for both planar and interleaved buffer layouts, improving compatibility with diverse audio pipelines. All work was carried out in C, demonstrating expertise in audio processing and codec development. Collaboration was managed through disciplined Git workflows, with an emphasis on precise format handling and interoperability rather than bug fixing during this period.
