Worked on enhancing deployment flexibility for the Pyroscope Helm Chart in the grafana/pyroscope repository by introducing support for custom environment variables and an option to disable self-profiling. Leveraged configuration management and DevOps practices to update deployments-statefulsets.yaml and values.yaml, ensuring seamless integration of the new features. The approach focused on improving operational control and adaptability for diverse deployment environments. Documentation was refreshed to guide users in configuring these new options, supporting better observability workflows. The work was implemented using Helm and yaml, providing a foundation for more customizable and maintainable deployments without addressing any major bug fixes during the period.
